How Thermo Swing Insulation Works
The principle behind thermo swing insulation is relatively simple yet highly effective. PCMs embedded in the insulation material change phases—typically from solid to liquid and back—at specific temperatures. During the day, when temperatures rise, the material absorbs excess heat, preventing it from penetrating indoor spaces. At night, as temperatures drop, the stored heat is released, maintaining a comfortable indoor climate.
